DIPLOMA IN RETAIL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (DRSCM) is for those Individuals from Purchase, Materials, Logistics, Warehousing and Supply Chain related function who are keen to make a career in Retail Industry. Fresh graduates/Diploma holders seeking

Admission Eligibility

Academic :


Degree in any discipline of any recognized University or any AICTE approved Diploma course or equivalent management course or GDMM holders of IIMM.

Experience :


Desirable but not essential.

Recognition :


Autonomous Course developed by IIMM.

Aptitude Test :


All applicants for this course will be required to appear for the common Admission Test (CAT), and Viva Voce, which will be conducted by the IIMM, Mumbai Branch, or other Branches of IIMM as required,. Applicants will Intimated the time, date and venue of the CAT in advance. The Test will be for an hour’s duration, and minimum qualifying marks for suitability will be 50%.



GDMM, PGDMM students will be exempt form appearing for the CAT.


Study Materials

  • Exhaustive and comprehensive study materials will be supplied to the students by the Institute.

  • In addition, Texts and other published books written by eminent authors and experts on the subject will be required to be referred to.

  • Contact classes will be held from time to time and intimated to the students in advance.

  • Study Materials will be supplied by Registered Book Post only to the mailing address of the students and shown in the Application Form. IIMM is not responsible for any loss in transit or non-receipt of study materials.

Note: Fees for students, who have obtained their passing certification of the Institute’s GDMM, PGDMM, exams, and seeking admission for the DRSCM course, will receive an concession of RS. 5,000/- in Course Fees from the above fee structure.


Payment of fees

  • Eligible students can pay the course fees in two installments.

  • However, prior to being admitted, all students, should, either pay, the total fees of Rs. 28,000/- or, as first installment, pay Rs. 18,000/-, which includes Registration, Exam and Class Rook Lecture fees, and the balance Rs. 10,000/- at the beginning of the second semester itself.

  • Course Fees includes cost of Study Material prescribed by the Institute.

  • The fees Structure indicated here is subject to change form time to time at the discretion of IIMM.

  • Student who have completed GDMM, PGDMM, and admitted for the DRSCM course, should pay, as first installment, Rs 13000/- and the balance Rs. 10,000/- at the beginning of the second semester itself.

  • Fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted against any other payment.

Method of Payment
All payment to be made by DD only, in favor of “Indian Institute of Materials Management, Mumbai Branch”


  • The Examinations for DRSCM course will be held in 2nd Week of June and December months each year, as notified by the IIMM, Mumbai Branch.

  • Venue of the exams will be announced by Mumbai Branch.

  • The duration of Exams will be 3 hours per paper and the timing will be 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

  • Exams will be by way of Written Examination.

  • If the examinations are cancelled for any reasons beyond the control of the Board of Studies, say for example, civil disturbances, natural calamities etc. students will have to write the examinations along with the next semester examinations. In such cases, students are exempted from paying any re-examination fee for the particular paper/semester.

Project Report / Viva Guidelines

  • Students will be issued separately guidelines in the preparation and submission of the Project Report.

  • Students are required to prepare a synopsis of their selected project, based on the guidelines, and submit two copies of the report to the Course Coordinator, DRSCM, IIMM Mumbai Branch Course, or as notified to the Student, for necessary approval.

  • One copy of the report shall be retained by the students for his/her record.

  • One approval of the synopsis, students are required to prepare and complete the project report. The report shall contain the Guide’s Certificate and Synopsis, as approved, prior to Project completion.

  • Project / Dissertation report once submitted will not be returned to the student for any reason.

  • Students who successfully complete the Project Report, and accordingly are qualified to appear for the Viva Voce exam, can appear for the same, which will be conducted at the respective branches, or at IIMM Office, Mumbai Branch. Intimation to this effect shall be sent by the Course Coordinator.

  • Students failing in Project or Viva Voce tests will have to rewrite a fresh project, and submit the same again for evaluation. In this case the student will have to re appear for the Viva-Voce test based o n the new project submitted by the student.
