GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MATERIALS MANAGEMENT- Course content
   

The Graduate Diploma in Materials Management is recognized by the Central Government (Department of Education), Ministry of HRD, for the purpose of recruitment to superior posts and services under the Central Government. This is also accredited by the International Federation of Purchasing and supply Management (IFPSM), Atlanta, USA. IIMM is the first Institute in the Asia Pacific Region to be certified by IFPSM.

A Board of Studies consisting of leading personalities from academic and professional field controls the courses at the national level. The faculty is drawn from experts in the industry, educational and professional institutions in the country.

Admission
Twice, Jan/July, every year through admission test and viva voce
Prospectus Rs.500/- cash/Bankers cheque favoring IIMM from 37 Branches and Headquarters.
 

Classes start in Jan & July.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with two years experience OR
     
  • A Diploma in engineering /Technology / Management approved by AICTE with two years experience.

Duration

  • 3 years by Correspondence (distance education) - 6 semesters x 6 months each
     
  • 2 years by Regular Course (oral instructions) classes commencing first week of January & July - 4 semesters x 6 months each

(Each Semester is of six months duration)

Examinations
Conducted twice a year Starting from every second Monday of June & December through network of 39 branches /Exam centers.

Two years regular courses in 17 branches
Aurangabad, Bangalore, Baroda, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, New Delhi, Pune and Vishakhapatnam.

   Tuition fee      :  Rs 6000/- each for modules 1,2,3
                           Rs 2800/- for 4th module.
